My recent stay at Pousada Vivamar was truly delightful. The location, just a short walk from Ubatuba's city centre, made it convenient to explore the vibrant Itaguá neighborhood with its array of restaurants, bars, and stores. The hotel's proximity to all the main beaches within the region was a definite plus for us beach lovers.The breakfast buffet at Vivamar was a highlight, offering a rich selection of fresh fruits, delicious breads, and quality cold cuts. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our early breakfast request, allowing us to start our day one and a half hours before the standard time. Their kindness and attentiveness added a personal touch to our experience. The room was well-equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning, a LCD TV with cable channels, and a minibar. The private bathroom, with a refreshing rain shower, added to our comfort during our stay.I was impressed to learn that the guesthouse at Vivamar implements sustainable practices like a rainwater harvesting system and composting facilities. This commitment to eco-friendliness resonated with my own values as a cultural anthropologist who appreciates establishments that prioritize environmental consciousness. The 24-hour front desk was always ready to assist, and the option for late checkout was a thoughtful gesture that allowed us to make the most of our visit.
